The article presents the Malach Centre and the USC Shoah Foundation Institute Visual History Archive. The Visual History Archive, which contains almost 52 000 witness testimonies covering the history of entire 20th century, is fully accessible through an on-line interface.
The users can search for and view testimonies of interest by using more than 55 000 keywords or database of 1.1 million names. It is possible to identify relevant interviews or specific segments by using the sophisticated user search interface.
Almost 25 000 interviews in English is easily accessible. The testimonies available in Malach Centre were recorded in 56 countries and in 32 languages.
The content of testimonies includes material that is applicable to many different scientific fields.
