Discusses the indications for Rogerian psychotherapy (RP), the behavior of the Rogerian psychotherapist during treatment, and the effectiveness of RP compared with other psychotherapies. Data from 2 experiments conducted at the University of Regensburg on (1) the behavior of Rogerian psychotherapists in Germany and (2) the impact of therapy on client behavior are examined.
