Acute and Chronic Toxicity Effects of Silver Nanoparticles (NPs) on Drosophila melanogaster

Abstrakt

The work constitutes the first complex study focused on in vivo evaluation of the acute and chronic toxic effects and toxic limits of silver nanooparticles on Drosophilla melanogaster. Nanoparticles of silver were microencapsulated in mannitol micromatrices prepared by spray drying.

This stable solid dispersion was used for the testing of toxicity effects.
