Abstract

The inhibition of the oxygen evolution rate (OER) in Chlorella vulgaris by 2-alkylsulphanyl-4-pyridinecarbothioamides was studied. The compounds were found to inhibit photosynthetic electron transport which resulted in the inhibition of OER in algae.
