Parliament as a catalyst in the transformation of an antisystemic party into a systemic party: a case study of the ČSDSD

Abstract

A very careful application of the Sartori´s concept of antisystemic party and Sartori´s (or better Easton's) concept of the degree of consensus on the development of ČSDSD in the 19th and the first half of the 20th century. I especially take into account the importance of parliament as an institution and parliamentarism as a system in this development.
