International Year of Chemistry at Faculty of Science of Charles University in Prague - activities and experience

Abstract

In a framework of International Year of Chemistry 2011, a set of activities was prepared to promote chemistry to public as well as to primary and secondary schools. These activities as Chemical market, Chemathlon, Day with chemistry studies etc. as well as experience and conception and selection experiments including their descrtiption are described in this contribution.
