Ammonium carbamates as highly active transdermal permeation enhancers with a dual mechanism of action

Abstract

Transdermal permeation enhancing activity of ammonium carbamates was studied using different drugs, pH and application protocols and compared to their parent amino compounds. Their mode of action within skin was studied by infrared spectroscopy.
