Abstract
The contribution emphasizes the significance of cross-sectional theme Man and the World of Work within the curriculum of initial secondary-school technical education. The theme supplements the technical knowledge and skills of pupils with pieces of information, which will help them to decide about their future professional and educational orientation and facilitate their entry into the labour markets and exercising of employment law.
