Abstract

The chapter is a reflection on one of the cultural phenomenon of contemporary Europe, and the formation of new religious identities that have no cultural precedent in European history. More specifically addresses European converts to Buddhism, who accepted the view of the world formed a religion that is completely different from the cultural heritage and social organization in which they live.

In the study group, Buddhism has become a source of values in which the respondents were choosing to educate their children.
