Abstract

This study is the contribution to the planning ethno-historical research of the personalities (case study of Dr. Leopold Fritz) living in the 2nd half of the 19th and 1st half of the 20th Centuries in the multiethnic urban and suburban neighborhood of the South-West Moravia (so called Iglauer Sprachinsel / Iglau Language Island).

From the formal point is the text distributed in the specific parts (Introduction, Theoretical base, Laudatio, De mortuis nisi bene, Curriculum vitae, Memoaria, and Conclusion) that authentic reflecting the most important activities of the Czech''s German (German''s Czech): doctor, scientist, humanist, politician, cultural worker ..., and "the father of Iglauvian Czechs".
