Abstract
Article discusses the development of media legislation in Czechoslovakia between 1945-1948. It focuses in particular on the role of the Union of Czech Journalists in the preparation of legislative standards and approval.
It shows that the UCJ in this case from beginning to fully support the proposals to the Ministry of Information, although the National Front has been adopting new media laws very difficult and time consuming.
