Abstract
In the present study, we propose a new interpretation of a classical study The Road to Xanadu by J.L. Lowes.
We attempt to show that Lowes'' interpretation of Coleridge''s poetry corresponds to the development of psychoanalytic theory, namely, the works by Freud.
