Congenitally anosmic adults report less maternal care than normosmics

Publication

Abstract

The aim of the present study was to investigate the consequences of congenital anosmia for the formation of the mother-infant bond, as assessed retrospectively. We hypothesised that congenital anosmics born to unaffected parents would differ in their recollections of maternal bonding behaviour during childhood.
