Abstract

The contribution addresses one of the key aspects of Roma children''s school failure and provides information about Roma ethnolect of the Czech language, its characteristics and circumstances of creation. It also deals the role of teachers in the education process of Roma students, and appropriate approaches that would lead to the elimination of undesirable phenomena and gradually achieve the desired level of Czech language acquisition.
