Abstract
End-stage COPD is the terminal stage of the progression of COPD to which little attention has been paid so far. However, patients in this stage have their specific desires and needs.
To meet them, adequate steps must be taken within health and social care. Moreover, a climate should be established to discuss the very sensitive issues of life''s end and dying.
