Abstract
The diagnostic indication of bronchoscopy is based on anamnestic data, clinical symptoms and pathological results of undertaken examinations, most often the chest X-ray. The vast majority of bronchoscopies is currently performed through flexible(video) bronchoscopes.
Contraindications for bronchoscopy are rare compared to the list of its indications.
