Epilogue : Language autobiography as a personal testimony, inspiration and method

Abstrakt

This chapter reflects on some of the issues of personal multilingual experience and on the phenomenon of multilingualism in general on the basis of the language autobiography by Ivo Vasiljev. It focuses on three functions of the language autobiography: as a testimony by its author about the acquiring, using and experiencing of languages, as an inspiration for its readers and as a method in social sciences.
