The effect of terlipressin on vital organ perfusion in cardiopulmonary resuscitation - experimental study TERCA (Terlipressin in Cardiac Arrest)

Abstract

Objective: Vasoactive drugs have been used in cardiopulmonary resuscitation to increase vital organ perfusion. The aim of this study was to compare haemodynamic effects of synergically acting terlipressin and adrenaline to adrenaline alone in a porcine model of venticular fibrillation (VF).
