Electrically conductive polymeric composites and nanocomposites

Publication at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics |
2011

Abstract

The chapter deals with various aspects of percolation theory applied to composites containing polymeric components. Several basic models are mentioned together with remarks related to particular conductive fillers (various inorganic particles, nanotubes, conducting particles and their combinations).

Special attention is devoted to effects of processing conditions on electrical behaviour of the composite. In addition, several advanced methods are explained that are frequently used to determine resistivity of flat samples.
