Sensitivity of UV spectrometric determination for dibutyl phthalate (DBP), diethyl phthalate (DEP), didecyl phthalate (DDP), and diallyl phthalate (DAP) was compared with voltammetric determination on a hanging mercury drop minielectrode (HMDmE) and a meniscus modified silver solid amalgam electrode (m-AgSAE). UV spectrometry suggests similar sensitivity like differential pulse voltammetry (DPV) on m-AgSAE, both in methanolic media, on micro molar level.
DPV on a hanging mercury drop minielectrode (HMDmE) in 0,1 mol.l-1 tetramethylammonium bromide (TMAB) in methanol was ten times more sensitive.
