Alkali-silica reactivity of aggregates in concrete pavements

Abstract

Microscopic techniques were employed with the aim to find: (a) the micro-parameters reflecting the degree of ASR in the concrete, (b) the main rock types causing the ASR within the concrete; and (c) the cause of the different degrees of ASR.
