Provenance study of carbonate stones from the Czech Republic: examples of their historical use

Abstrakt

Numerous varieties of crystalline limestones (i.e. true marbles) were distinguished from the different metamorphic units located in the Bohemian Massif. The assembled marble characteristics were correlated with artefacts from important Czech monuments.
