Reform or Revolution? : The British Government Crisis in the Tears 1782-1784

Abstract

The study analyses causes of British governmental crisis in the years 1782-1784 which provoked repeated changes of governments and checked the operation of British parliamentary monarchy. The crisis ended by the appointment of William Pitt the Younger as the Prime Minister.
