This article discusses how more than half a century of mutual Czech Vietnamese relationships have influenced contemporary Vietnamese society, particularly inhabitants of the capital city Hanoi. The main objective is to promote awareness of the two-directional impacts of Czechia and Vietnam as conveyed by Vietnamese migrants.
They, of course, bring Vietnamese traditions, costumes and goods, from Vietnam to Czechia, but, at the same time, their migratory experiences also significantly impact their country of origin.
