Abstract
To prevent invasive disease caused by Neisseria meningitidis serogroups A, C, W135 and Y is currently available quadrivalent vaccine conjugated to protein CRM (Menveo). The meningococcal vaccine is indicated for active immunization of adolescents and adults;in these pipulations is well tolerated and immunogenic.
Evidence was passed in comparative studies with other quadrivalent meningococcal vaccine (Menactra and Menomune). The vaccine is administered intramuscularly into the deltoid muscle, usually in a single dose may be administered simultaneously with other vaccines.
