Low-Temperature Plasma Behavior in the Vicinity of a Cylindrical Probe

Publication at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics |

Abstract

An image of low-temperature plasma behavior in the vicinity of a cylindrical probe is presented and described in this paper. The probe comprises two cylindrical objects-a collective area and an insulated holder-placed on a common axis.

The figure presents three macroscopic quantities: the distribution of the intensity of electric field, the concentration of electrons, and its gradient in the vicinity of the probe. Input data were obtained by the computation of a computer model based on a hybrid modeling technique.
