Geoarchaeological Research in the area of Sabaloka and the Sixth Nile Cataract: Preliminary Report on the Fieldwork (February 17-26, 2011)
Abstract
The report presents the objectives, scientific tasks, and results achieved by the geoarchaeological expedition of the Czech Institute of Egyptology (Faculty of Arts, Charles University in Prague) and the Institute of Geology (Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic) in the area of Sabaloka mountains and tthe 6th Nile Cataract in Sudan during the winter 2011 season.
