Abstract

The medieval town of Sezimovo Ústí was founded around the middle of the 13th century, on 30 March 1420 was engulfed by fire. The case study is concentrated on a suburb, where programmed archaeological research took place from 1962 to 1988.

Evidence for nonagrarian production was richly preserved.
