This lecture presented some interesting Czech works from the 19th and the 20th century, which were devoted to Albanian nation. As in the other parts of Europe, we can see an increased interest in events in the Balkans after the Berlin Congress in 1878.
In the context of the tumultuous events in the Balkans, many journalists, travelers, adventurers, but also scientists traveled to this part of Europe and their popular and scientific articles acquainted the Czech public with the political, economic and cultural events in the Balkans. In this way, information about Albanians penetrated to the Czech society.
