From democracy of city states to democracy at supranational level

Abstract

In this text it is elaborated on Dahl's idea of three transformations, i.e. 1) of the direct democracies of the Democratic City-States, 2) of the representative democracies of the national States, and 3) the coming democracy at the supranational level.
