Abstract

Dehydration induces changes in the cardiovascular and the thermoregulatory functions and it decreases the endurance performance. Sufficiently hydrated athletes have greater ability to tolerate the fluid loss, the better thermoregulation abilities and they easier maintain the cardiac output.

A compliance with drinking regime is the main way to keep the well hydrated body.
