Abstract
The object of study is the motive of knight-rider, who was in the Czech environment used since the late 12th and after the 13th century on seals of Czech kings and Moravian margraves. Member of the Rosenberg family was knight-rider motif first used on the seal of Henry I.
In 1285 the Rosenbergs and was subsequently used until the family died in 1611.
