World according to Poles and Czechs - based on analysis of press news

Abstrakt

The aim of this article is to reconstruct and compare some elements of two pictures of the world which appear in the Polish and Czech mass media. The analysis is based on selected press news from two newspapers: Polish "Gazeta Wyborcza" and Czech "MF Dnes".

This fragment of specific image of reality shows how much a cultural style of cognition influences our presentation and interpretation of facts.
