Abstract
Josef Úlehla (1852-1933) was a Czech teacher at primary and secondary schools. His subject was mainly mathematics and natural sciences, but he was interested in many other areas and also wrote about them.
This text describes Úlehla's biography and analyzes the context, historical background as well as reviews of his calculus textbook entitled Počet infinitesimální (Infinitesimal calculus).
