Abstract
The changes in the field of security within Europe which took place in the nineties of the twentieth century led to closer cooperation of the law enforcement agencies not only in the area of policing but also in police training. This entry summarises and describes briefly the most significant projects and institutions working in the field of international police training and education on European level with emphasis placed on the most progressive element, European Police College (CEPOL).
