The entry treats the use of electronic education in various forms within professional education of the Czech police officers. It outlines the current state and analyzes benefits of multimedia use and interactivity in education.
The authors argue for blended learning to be implemented into multiple forms and levels of police education and describe the possibilities, risks (and their potential prevention) of purely distance learning. Conditions of effective implementation of e-learning into police education are summed up and briefly characterised and current state of the conditions is identified in the final part of the entry.
