The Preposition "za" in Czech and Serbian: their Function, Meaning and Mutual Relation

Abstract

The article intends to survey the scope, distribution and meaning of the preposition "za" in Czech and Serbian languages. The text material has been taken from four original sources and translations, which are the parts of Czech - Serbian parallel corpus InterCorp.

In the conclusion of the article there is a consideration on the possibilities of preventing recurrent mistakes in preposition "za" usage by foreign speakers.
