Abstract
Aim of the paper is an analysis of memetics which is relatively new approach to a culture. Theoretical background of memetics is evolutionary biology.
Particular attention is devoted to the origin, development and current state of memetics. Objective of the paper is present relevancy of memetics from the anthropological perspective and evaluation of that one from the perspective of bioculturology.
