Biodiversity change is scale-dependent: an example from Dutch and UK hoverflies (Diptera, Syrphidae)

Abstrakt

On the data on distirbution of hoverflies, we demonstrate that explicit considerations of spatial (and temporal) scale are essential in studies documenting past biodiversity change, or projecting change into the future.
