The organisation and transformation of the sculptural craft in Cheb

Abstrakt

The chapter focuses on the development of Cheb sculpture in the 14th16th centuries. In addition to formally analytical approach, typology and iconography, corrected by a comparative study of models of development in other regions, the research is complemented by a rethought concept of medieval workshop and recherche of written sources in the Cheb archive.
