Abstract
In Transformations of the Historiography of Science, Daniel Špelda reconstructed main methodological approaches applied in a field of the history of science. Few points are determined as crucial in the historiography of science: a birth of interest in the history of scientific knowledge (16.-17.c.), Koyré's discovery of a historical context of scientific processes (1940), constitution of professional history of science (1960), turn to a social context and a scientific praxis (1980). Špelda's study is the first systematic account of the historiography of science written in Czech.
