International Scientific Doctoral and Post-Doctoral Conference: Roots and/or Borders: Negotiating the Difficult Aspects of the Ecumenical and Intercultural Conversations
Abstract
The conference investigated the following questions: Where are the borders of what we consider still as Christian (in doctrine, ritual, spirituality, ethics)? What lies beyond the borders? How did such borders develop? What kind of "translation" of values and attitudes helped us in the past to expand our borders? What kind of discernement of what is and what is not "of God" was active within the process of "translation"?
