Abstract
The monograph gives information connected with mathematical and geometrical features of the golden section (its constructions, Fibonacci numbers, exercises in plane and space geometry), its history (from Euclid to Kepler), applications in some mathematical textbooks and connections with art, architecture, nature and psychology.
