Analysis of select ceramic assemblages from the tomb of prince Werkaura in the Royal Abusir

Abstrakt

The article deals with preliminary analysis of the ceramic corpus from the massive tomb of prince Werkaura and its cultic structures, excavated in the course of years 2006-2008. The tomb yielded numerous ceramic remains both from the period od the building of the tomb (late Old Kingdom pottery from the destroyed substructure of the tomb and its outer chapel) and from the levels of the secondary burials distributed in its whole area.
