The development of the attention and the achievement motivation in adolescents with hearing impairments through intervention motion program

Abstract

The monograph put mind to the unconventional motion activities by the adolescent young people with the hearing disability. It submits the detailed description of the psychological, pedagogical and the sociological characterictics of the adolescent's personality.

It characterize the hearing aberration and the auditory prosthesis in detail, it describes the principles of communication withe people with the hearing handicap, it interprets the term of the motor abilities and it describes the surveyed quantity - the attention end the achievement motivation. The monograph also pays increased attention to the psychomotor development of the child.

It defines the selfdefence and the psychomotor activities and their's meaning in the motion education of the adolescent's with the hearing handicap. Based od the findings of hearing impairment presents a metodology prepared the foundations of self- defense and the psychomotor to serve the educators and teachers of special schools and facilities for hearing impaired individuals.

The aim of this monograph was to determine the influence of special intervention program on some personality of hearing impaired youth, especially in attention and the achievement motivation. The partial order of business was also shown increased levels of interest inspecific program of physical aktivity in young people with the hearing disability.

As part of this research was followed up 28 people tested, 14 subjects formed the exprimental group and 14 test subjects constituted the control group. Established hypotheses and assumptions were also confirmed.

The results of the research-based statistical evaluation showed significant, positive effect of a special intervention program for hearing-handicapped children in terms of impact on this program stimulation or development of attention and power motivation in adolescents with hearing impairment.
