Abstract

Karel Klostermann was a contemporary of Kálmán Mikszáth. Both authors have captured the world with more ethnic groups. by Klostermann they were Czechs and Germans, by Mikszáth Hungarians and Slovaks.

For both authors is characterized by an emphasis of the humanity, the absence of national and ethnic prejudices and the close connection of the human being with nature.
