Abstract
The conference represents one of the form of cooperation between several Universities in the Czech Republic and Slovakia which programs include Social Work and research in this field. The conference was divided in the plenary sessions and seminar sections, it dealt with issues of education, research and practice of social work, including problems of public policies.
The presented papers were complemented by discussions. Based on the presented papers, the conference collective monography will be published.
