The doctoral thesis Greek Emigration in Czechoslovakia (1948-1968). Between two splits is a historical study of the foundation, establishment and forming of the Greek political emigration in Czechoslovakia in the period between 1948 and 1968.
Its main objective is to analyse the political development of emigration, which was in very close contact with the Communist Party of Greece. It is especially focused on the topic of forming a special "emigrant identity" in the context of the two splits of the Greek communists: the first during the period of destalinization and the second during Prague Spring.
These problems are being examined from a political and socio-cultural perspective in the context of political development in Greece and Czechoslovakia during this period.
