Small medieval fortifications on the territory of central Považie.

Abstrakt

The problem of study of small feudal residences (timber-and-earth castles) on the territory of what is now Slovakia counts within little investigated topics. The presented work offers a comprehensive catalogue list of medieval fortifications assignable to this group of monuments.

The depth of presented knowledge correaponds to the current state of research in this field.
