Review of Ion-Molecule Reactions with Atomic and Molecular Hydrogen Suitable for Future Studying Using 22-Pole Ion Trap

Publication at Faculty of Mathematics and Physics |
2011

Abstract

Ion-molecule reactions with atomic and molecular hydrogen are reviewed in the article, such as O- + H2, OH- + H, H+ + H2, H+ + D2, D+ + H2, D+ + D2 and CHx + + H and H2 (x = 0...5). Their rate coefficient dependencies on temperature are shown.

The history of the experiments with these reactions, some previous results and theoretical predictions are discussed. In the end, conclusions and projects for future experiments are given.
